Today at 3pm, the day before the baby would be 19 weeks, Gina's water broke. She was taken to the hospital and admitted for observation. We were able to see the baby on the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. The baby appeared fine and had some fluid around the body. We still don't know the gender of our little one. We were scheduled to find out tomorrow. Gina will have a more in-depth ultrasound on Friday and, hopefully, we'll find out if it's a boy or a girl.
Gina is resting tonight and will be in the hospital for, possibly, up to a week. She will then come home until the 23rd week and be readmitted for the duration of the pregnancy. This is similar to the twins' pregnancy, except Ambrose's amniotic sac ruptured at 20 weeks.
Please keep us all in your prayers. There are a lot of things happening all at once and we need the wisdom to make the right decisions.
