Ultrasound

Tiny Iker was a little modest during the ultrasound, but eventually revealed himself to be a healthy BOY.

I'll finish up the IV antibiotics in the hospital and probably discharge home on oral antibiotics Monday. The antibiotics are to prevent an infection. I'm perfectly healthy and in no pain or danger, but need to remain on bed rest so the baby will survive until he is viable - able to survive outside the womb (about mid-June). Then we'll return to the hospital for the duration of the pregnancy, which is hopefully, but unfortunately, still a very long time. Full-term would be mid-September.

In the meantime, if you know of anyone who is looking for a low-paying summer domestic work opportunity, send them our way.

  1. Thank the Lord! We are heading to St. Thomas the Apostle shortly and will offer our Mass for you, tiny Iker, and your family. Our friends and family will also be praying for all of you.
